Looking back,
I remember places.
For years I thought about a journey mainly in terms of where it was taking me next: the next project, the next responsibility, the next city. Only later did I understand how much meaning was already sitting behind me.
A résumé records titles. A calendar records dates. A photograph captures one moment. A map can connect those moments and show the larger journey.
That connecting line became the idea behind Places We Keep: turn geography into a visual story that someone can actually keep.
